Our Story – Davina Connect

At Davina Connect, we are driven by a commitment to digital transformation, innovation and nurturing businesses through technology.  Our journey began with our founder, Dav, whose passion for IT, complemented by a diverse range of skills, led to the creation of a consultancy that bridges the gap between technology and business success.

Dav’s story is one of perseverance and reinvention. Inspired by her parents’ belief that education is an invaluable asset, she was raised in India, instilled with the confidence to go on and achieve a Master’s in Computer Science.

Life took Dav from her familiar surroundings to Kenya, where she faced new challenges after marriage. The birth of her son ignited a pivotal moment in her life. Determined to provide a better future for him, Dav made the bold decision to leave her marriage and relocate to England. As the sole provider for her son, she found herself in a sink-or-swim position—and sinking was not an option.

Dav initially built a successful career in accountancy, rising rapidly through the ranks in London. However, when life threw her a curveball, she found herself starting over again. It was during this time someone recognised her potential, and an opportunity arose to reconnect with her IT skills. With her natural ability to learn and adapt quickly, Dav transitioned into marketing and used her growing network to launch TedX events. It was during this period that she earned the nickname “Davina,”  symbolizing her ability to connect people and opportunities, leading to the establishment of Davina Connect Ltd.

The year 2020 brought unprecedented challenges for everyone, and Dav was no exception. Yet, she continued to hone her skills, taking on roles that enhanced her expertise in technology. She worked with web developers, streamlined IT systems, and helped companies elevate their digital presence. Dav’s journey and Davina Connect’s growth mirrored each other, and in 2024, with the support of the connections she had nurtured over the years, Davina Connect emerged as a full-force IT consultancy.
